Gloucestershire Women stretch 100 per cent record

GLOUCESTERSHIRE Women made it three from three with a comfortable seven-wicket away win over Warwickshire in the ECB 50 Over League.

The home outfit were rushed out for 114 after winning the toss, Melissa Story capturing 4-15 from six and Bhoomika Bhat 3-12.

And opener Isobel Patel then led Gloucestershire to the points with an unbeaten 74 from 98.

Next up for the joint table toppers is a trip to Taunton to face Somerset on July 14.

The Under-15 Development squad, meanwhile, completed two friendly victories away to Warwickshire, Millie Downey hitting 33 in a five-wicket success and then finishing with fine figures of 4-5 from four in a 49-run triumph.

Gloucestershire Under 18s completed a six-wicket victory at Shurdington over Hampshire, Jen Rivers leading the charge with an excellent return of 5-17 from ten before Katie Jones cracked an unbeaten 78 from only 47 (12 fours, two sixes).

The Under-11 Development squad wrapped up back-to-back wins against Dorset, but the Under 13s suffered a double setback against Wales.

Gloucestershire Under-15s fought hard before slipping to a 17-run defeat at Chipping Sodbury against Wales, Bella Herring hitting a defiant 63 from 58.
