KNOWLE will be home to Painswick on a Sunday when a place in the quarter-finals of the Stuart Canvas Gloucestershire Cup will be at stake.
The winners will be home to Bristol West Indian Phoenix who received a walkover when Winterbourne conceded.
Also on Sunday, it’s Gloucester v Hatherley & Reddings with the victors away to Rockhampton.
Two more first round clashes are scheduled for June 26 when Golden Hill welcome Cheltenham, and Thornbury are home to Bedminster.
THORNBURY are into the last four of the WEPL qualifying competition for the ECB National Club Twenty20.
The South Gloucestershire club lost their first stage two game, against hosts Gloucester, by five wickets, but crushed Hatherley & Reddings by 100 runs in their next outing, captain Marc Lezar cracking 57 off only 29 balls (eight fours, four sixes).
Hatherley then edged Gloucester by two runs in the final match of the day, leaving Thornbury to progress on run rate.
Bridgwater, Bath and Potterne are also through to the next stage on July 11, details to be announced.
ROCKHAMPTON are preparing to entertain Yelverton Bohemians on Sunday in the last 32 of the Voneus Village Cup.
The South Gloucestershire club, beaten Lord’s finalists in 2013, clinched the Gloucestershire group with a 25-run victory over Frocester while Yelverton are the Devon/Cornwall champions.
