VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Gloucester are looking for volunteer ground staff to assist with ground preparation. Help is required with daytime rolling of the wicket (20 minutes a day) and cutting the outfield twice a week on a Tuesday and Friday (two hours a time) on the club’s gang mower. CHARITY MATCH

Ozleworth Park, near Wotton-under-Edge, is to stage a second Pro-Am match in aid of The County Food Trust.

The 25/25 match takes place on Wednesday May 21 with David Gower MBE providing commentary. The cricket action will start at 10am with a break for lunch and an auction.
