Fixtures, results and tables for the Cheltenham and Gloucester

Indoor Cricket in Gloucestershire continues to grow from strength to strength with three major leagues.

With coverage across the county there are now opportunities for all to continue their cricketing participation throughout the winter months. The following links give more information about each of the leagues including venue details, fixtures for the season and updated league tables.

Winners from each of these leagues will also compete against each other to become the Gloucestershire representative at the regional and potentially national finals.

Bristol Indoor League

The Bristol Indoor Cricket Leagues are organised and delivered by the DFCA and welcomes men’s, women’s or mixed teams and take place at the Bristol Cricket Centre.

Cheltenham Indoor 6s League

The Cheltenham Indoor 6s League is made up of 24 teams across 4 divisions.

The competition is organised by Jim Hyland on behalf of the Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation and in partnership with the Gloucestershire Association of Cricket Officials (GACO).

The league is sponsored by Display Refrigeration which is based in Quedgeley. Display Refrigeration Hire Ltd provides an extensive range of refrigerated equipment throughout the UK including hiring for refurbishments, exhibitions, hospitality, county shows and special events.

Finals

The winners of Division One and the Knockout Cup Competition compete against each other in a one off fixture to decide the overall Cheltenham Indoor Champions.

From here, the Cheltenham, Gloucester and Bristol league winner`s play-off to become Gloucestershire Champions and represent the County at the National 6`s Championship, a Knockout Competition which culminates in a Finals Day at the Indoor Cricket Centre at Lord`s.

End of Season Awards

Held annually in March at Cheltenham Cricket Club. Awards presented by representatives of Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation and Gloucestershire County Cricket Club.

Gloucester Indoor League

Sponsored by Martin Berrill Sports, the league for the winter 2024/2025, boasts 13 teams across two divisions, with the winner going on to play against the Cheltenham Indoor League winner to see who represents Gloucestershire in the Regional Round of the ECB competition.

The top two teams from each group will progress to Semi-Finals, before the winners face off to be crowned Martin Berrill Sports Gloucester Indoor League Champions.

Harry Watts / Club Development Manager

Harry Watts / Club Development Manager

Harry joined the team in August 2022 as our Urban Development Officer and was initially responsible for growing the game of cricket in the urban areas of Bristol and Gloucester. In April 2024, Harry was promoted to Club Development Manager where he now delivers on a number of ECB priority areas including Facility Development, Clubmark, as well as working with Local Authorities on their Playing Pitch Strategies.

In 2018, Harry graduated from Swansea University with a degree in Media & Communications and later gained a PGCE in Primary Education from UWE, having spent multiple years working in primary schools. At his local club, Thornbury CC, Harry supports in different areas, including being an emergency player when required!

Now in his exciting role as Club Development Manager, he is responsible for leading the team of club development staff and working closely with cricket clubs across the county to provide direct support with the aim of creating sustainable clubs for the future.  Furthermore, Harry leads youth competitions and the ECB Clubmark Accreditation and sits on a number of GCF Development Groups and Committees.

As a local Bristolian, Harry is a Bristol Rovers supporter and is a big all-round sports fan.
