Girls EPP

Our high performance player development programme.

The Gloucestershire Girls Emerging Players Programme (EPP) is a development programme for players who have been identified as high quality performers with high potential as a result of their cricket skills and their attitude.

The EPP is designed to support and develop individuals who we feel are, or have the potential to be outstanding players in their age group, to be considered for regional cricket (e.g. Western Storm) and to play Women’s Cricket for Gloucestershire in the near future.

This is the second year running our EPP programme for female players in Gloucestershire and the group will be made up of 13 players selected from across the County Age Group Pathway (Under 13 to Under 18).

The programme will give the selected young female cricketers access to an extra three hours a week of coaching from Collegiate School. It is really exciting to be leading the way in this area as we go above and beyond to ensure the Girls Performance Pathway mirrors the opportunities within the Boys Pathway.

We are delighted to have an outstanding coaching team with extensive experience in girls’ cricket and developing young players who will be led by Luke Sellers our Under 18s Girls Coach. Luke has been involved in county age group cricket for more than 15 years and was involved in Gloucestershire’s previous Girls EPP.

The other coaches include England World Cup winner Fran Wilson, Western Storm and Gloucestershire County Woman Mollie Robbins Gloucestershire Women’s coach Ryan Aingworth Matt Hunkin who coaches Gloucestershire U18s. The players will also receive Strength and Conditioning support.
