Seat Unique Stadium hosting Glo’shire Cup and U19 finals

THE Seat Unique Stadium will host the finals of two Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation competitions this weekend.

On Saturday, Bristol take on WEPL Premier One league rivals Frocester in the final of the Stuart Canvas Gloucestershire Cup (1pm).

And on Sunday, it’s finals day in the BOM IT Solutions GCF U19 T20 when four times will be vying for the silverware.

A hectic day of action will get underway with the first semi-final at 10am between Hatherley & Reddings and Bedminster Bashers, to be followed at around by 1pm by the second semi-final between Golden Hill and holders Dumbleton.

The two winning teams will then go head-to-head for the title at around 4pm.

Admission to both days is free.

KNOWLE will have home advantage in the final of the Bristol Midweek T20 League against Downend which takes place on Sunday (2pm).

DUMBLETON are preparing for the final of the Voneus Village Cup at Lord’s on Sunday September 15 (11am).

The 2022 champions will face Foxton Granta, of Cambridge.

Entry at the home of cricket for adults is £15 and a bargain £5 for under-16s and the over 65s.

Also heading to Lord’s are Apperley Girls who are through to the final of the ECB U15 Club T20, taking on Ramsbotton of Lancashire, on Saturday September 14.
