ANDREW Bevan cracked an unbeaten 112 off only 65 (11 fours, seven sixes) to help Cinderford St John to a 112-run victory away to Fairford in Division Three of the AMS Gloucestershire County League.
Bevan powered Saints to 262-3 after losing the toss while Chloe Skelton then led the charge with the ball, claiming 3-30 from eight as the Forest side completed only their second win of the summer and edged up a place to eighth.
Freddie Sharp’s burst of 5-23 helped leaders Dumbleton 2nds close out a 234-run home hammering of bottom side Cricklade.
