RUSS Bryan marked his debut for Minchinhampton with 116, helping pave the way for a 22-run victory away to Kingsholm 2nds in Division Five of the AMS Gloucestershire County League.
Minch lost the toss and a couple of early wickets before Bryan and opener Alex Waring (61) steadied the innings, laying foundations for a total of 244-6.
Gavin White did his best to get Kingsholm over the line but was unbeaten on 90 as the visitors held firm for the victory.
Sathya Prakash produced a devastating spell of 5-18 from eight overs for Cheltenham 3rds who completed a five-wicket home success against Whitminster.
Pars Ghadiali top scored with a patient 57 for the visitors ahead of Naveen Thomas (55 not) guiding Cheltenham to the points.
The biggest innings of the day came in Division Six where Tom Hayward plundered 149 off only 94 balls (19 fours, eight sixes) for Apperley 2nds.
But an imposing total of 266-6 proved to be within range for Quedgeley & Hardwicke who paced their reply perfectly to seal a five-wicket success with four balls to spare, openers Ben Hopkins (115) and Mike Carratu (69) playing key roles.
In Division Four, Harry Clements produced a devastating spell of 5-12 from seven overs as Churchdown saw off Oldlands by 68 runs.
Lewis Febery (5-31 from eight) was another bowler to shine, helping dismiss Dymock 139 ahead of Cheltenham Civil Service 2nds easing to a five-wicket triumph.
And Sheldon Pereira made the most of the new ball to finish with fantastic figures of 4-4 from eight overs as Cricklade bowled out Sheepscombe for just 88 ahead of romping to a nine-wicket home win.
Paul Turner (4-19 from nine) and James Schofield (3-10 from 4.5) combined to dismiss Westbury-on-Severn for 120 in Division One, paving the way for Cheltenham 2nds to secure an eight-wicket victory.
In Division Two, Richard Henry (4-9 from seven) helped steer Newent to a 29-run success at home to Redmarley while captain Harry Stevens cracked an unbeaten 94 off 75 (seven fours, seven sixes) as Langford dispatched Shurdington by six wickets and opener Charles Pegg (94) put Great Rissington on course for a 62-run home win against Cinderford St John.
Ben Evans was bowled just one run short of his century for Tetbury who romped past Tewkesbury 2nds by 134 runs in Division Three.
And opener Joel Price was dismissed for 97 in Hatherley & Reddings 2nds’ 32-run home success over their Dumbleton counterparts which also featured a fine spell from Alice Hill (3-14 from eight).
