We’re excited to advertise for a Community Development Manager, a brand new role in our organisation to drive and grow ‘cricket for good’ opportunities across the County.
In addition, we wish to grow our delivery team by appointing two more Community Cricket Coaches to deliver community and school-based cricketing opportunities, both coaching and competition, for children of all ages.
The opportunities to join our team are outlined below, starting with the Community Development Manager role. Please scroll down for the Community Cricket Coach roles.
- Role: Community Development Manager
- Contract: 5 days a week – 37.5 hours (minimum contract of 24 months)
- Reports to: Chief Executive

With the launch of our new strategy, Inspiring Gloucestershire, 2020-2024, we set ourselves the challenge to reach more people through the ‘power of cricket’ and making cricket accessible to all.
We truly want to be known for representing our locality and communities and therefore our aim with this post, will be to engage with the wide and diverse nature of the community, using cricket as a tool to deliver social impact programmes. In essence putting a bat and ball in as many people’s hands as possible.
Aligned to the employment of this senior position is the imminent move to becoming a charity, which will see us move from Gloucestershire Cricket Board Ltd to Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation. This post will lead, develop and manage the new community arm of the charity and will be charged with delivering community facing programmes with the outcome of social good rather than our usual, cricket development.
