The ACE Academy will officially relaunch on 10 October 2026 at SEAT Unique Stadium.
ACE stands for the African Caribbean Engagement Programme, a charity committed to increasing participation and representation in cricket at both grassroots and elite levels.
Our Academy provides a comprehensive winter training programme, targeted elite coaching and 1-to-1 mentorship opportunities. We take a holistic approach to player development, recognising that supporting young cricketers goes beyond what happens on the field. Through the programme, we also provide opportunities to gain work experience, develop professional skills and explore the wide range of careers and opportunities available within cricket.
Throughout the summer, we conducted an extensive talent search across the South West, with the aim of identifying and supporting as many talented African and Caribbean cricketers as possible. As part of this process, we discovered four new players, all of whom successfully completed trials and have earned a place as scholars on the ACE Academy programme.
However, we know there are still talented cricketers across the South West who remain unseen and undiscovered.
Our ambition is to reach and support as many African and Caribbean players as possible, providing them with the opportunities, guidance and support they need to fulfil their potential both within cricket and beyond.

Please note: In order to ensure that we effectively serve the community the programme was established to support, trials are currently open only to players from African or Caribbean backgrounds.
