Aspire
For anyone aged 17 and over from clubs with a girls’ section and clubs starting a girls’ section wishing to become qualified to coach cricket, inspire and develop girls and make a difference to the game. The Metro Bank Girls in Cricket Fund ECB Core Coach is designed to develop a coach’s knowledge, skills and confidence to lead player-centred coaching sessions for girls in clubs.
Enhance
Coaches and coaching teams at clubs with a girls’ section and clubs starting a girls’ section – this can include qualified and unqualified coaches – can receive twenty hours of contextualised, individualised and in-situ coach development led by relevant and appropriate staff at a county organisation.
Network
A series of events that help coaches connect, explore, discover and develop their knowledge, understanding and confidence to coach girls at a club. This is for potential or existing coaches from clubs with a girls’ section and clubs starting a girls’ section, wishing to inspire and develop girls and make a difference to the game.
Evolve
For any existing or potential female coaches interested in becoming an ECB Coach Developer.
Charlotte Moore / Women & Girls Development Manager
Charlotte’s role is to grow, sustain and support the recreational Women and Girls game across Gloucestershire from All Stars and Dynamos Cricket through to Ladies Soft and Hard ball. She supports clubs to ensure they are creating a welcoming environment for Women and Girls to play recreationally. She also works with community programmes to enhance the opportunities available for Women and Girls within the leadership and playing of Cricket. Charlotte’s aim is to increase the availability and opportunity of Women’s and Girls’ chances at getting involved in cricket, through working with Clubs, Schools, and Community groups.
Charlotte has recently made the move from the North to the South, after graduating from University in Manchester, where she studied Sports Business Management. In her free time: Charlotte will be found playing Cricket, Dodgeball and Netball, watching Disney movies, or baking something delicious!
