The Foundation's work

CommunitySupport Us

The work of the Foundation is aligned to meeting the requirements of the Inspiring Gloucestershire Strategy (2025-2029) and the ECB's Cricket Partnership Agreement

Purpose: To improve lives through the power of cricket
Mission: To put bats and balls into more people’s hands.

Throughout 2024, the Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation spoke to more than 400 stakeholders to help shape the future of the recreational game in the county. Inspired by your ideas and priorities, we have developed a localised strategy that belongs to our clubs, communities, and partners. It blends proven, established initiatives with fresh thinking to build a stronger and more inclusive future for cricket in Gloucestershire.

Below, you can find ‘Inspiring Gloucestershire 2025-2029’, our four-year plan for achieving our objectives. Broken down into six pillars, as identified by our consultation, the team will focus on delivery in these key areas.  As we set our sights on 2030, we have already started turning some of these ideas into action.
