Chance to Shine - GCF Schools and Community Partner
Chance to Shine is an independent charity that aims is to get more children in state schools playing cricket.
The scheme helps fund coaching for around 500,000 children in primary schools each year – including at more than 100 schools in Gloucestershire.
The charity also funds Chance to Shine Street – an inner-city cricket initiative that helps combat youth crime and anti-social behaviour. There are currently several of these projects run by the GCB in Bristol.
Gray-Nicolls - Official Kit Supplier
Gray Nicolls is one of the world’s leading cricket equipment manufacturers and is the official kit supplier to the GCF.
The partnership means that all Gloucestershire Women & Girls and Zonal squads will wear Gray Nicolls clothing whilst clubs can benefit through exclusive offers on team-wear and equipment.
The Sussex-based firm also sponsors the Gloucestershire Youth League and the likes of former England captain Alistair Cook, New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson and England World Cup winner Laura Marsh.
Lions Sports Travel - Official Travel Partner
As part of the agreement Lions Sport Travel has organised two-week tours to Sri Lanka for both boys and girls’ county squads in February 2016 and 18. During the trips the two teams played five matches each – including at international grounds – and took part in sightseeing excursions.
We’re incredibly excited that our girls’ squads will return to Sri Lanka in 2022.
Lions Sports Travel has extensive knowledge and experience in organising cricket, rugby and netball tour for schools, clubs and performance teams. As well as Sri Lanka they also run trips to India, Dubai, South Africa and a wide range of other places.
Lord’s Taverners
The organisation works directly with the GCF through its funding of two of the Board’s staff members Wicketz Development Officer Sam Emmott and Supers 1s Disability Development Officer Jeanette Tate. Sam uses cricket as tool for social good in disadvantaged areas of Bristol while Sam oversees all disability cricket across Gloucestershire.
Stuart Canvas – County Cup and Trophy Sponsor
The firm is sponsor of the Gloucestershire County Cup and is offering £500 worth of their products to the winning team.

The Medlock Charitable Trust – Disability Cricket Sponsor
In 2012 they agreed to donate £40,000 to the GCF over a four year period to fund the development of disability cricket in the county. They renewed this agreement in 2015. The Trust – which is named after company founder Leonard Medlock invests in worthwhile causes within its local communities.
Previous recipients of donations include universities, schools, colleges hospital, medical research organisations and social care.
Willow Turf Care - Grounds Partner
Willow Turf Care is a youthful and innovative sports ground maintenance company, working across Gloucestershire and surrounding counties.
We provide a range of top quality services: packages for maintaining and preparing grounds and pitches throughout the year, end of season renovations, verti draining, scarification, overseeding ground construction, pre-season packages and application and supply of liquid and granular fertilisers and herbicides.
Willow Turf Care staff have an enviable CV, with experience of working at international stadiums, including Trent Bridge and Bristol. Richie has prepared practice pitches at Loughborough for England pre-Ashes training and has personally prepared practice pitches for Joe Root and Stuart Broad.

The partnership with FCC supported the County Girls Tour party to Sri Lanka and supported the squads during the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
