Liv makes history with unbeaten century on debut for Frenchay!

SIXTEEN-year-old Liv Daniels has become the first female player to score a century in the Bristol & District League, making history on her senior debut for Frenchay!

The opener finished unbeaten on 112 off 107 balls, hitting 14 fours, in a 181-run home win for the 4ths against their Chipping Sodbury counterparts in Division 15.

Liv, who also plays for Gloucestershire Girls U18s and Bristol Grammar School’s first XI, gave one half chance in the 80s before going on to reach three figures and propel her side to 287-3 off 40 overs.

She shared a second wicket stand of 123 with Ellie Donaldson (43) who is a member of the Gloucestershire Girls U15 squad, and followed up her memorable innings by taking a wicket to help bowl out Sodbury for 106 and ensure leaders Frenchay remain top of the table and favourites for the title.
