Opener Nic Tindall smashed an unbeaten 207 from 138 balls for Senior Division leaders Stapleton in the Bristol League.
He hit 25 fours and nine sixes as his side made 365-3, a score that was 69 too many for Midsomer Norton 2nds. Tindall put on 145 for the first wicket with skipper Alfie Lewis (65) and added 188 for the third wicket with George McEndoo (69).
Sam Bracey thumped six sixes and six fours in a 68-ball 95 as Winterbourne defeated Bradley Stoke & Almondsbury by 42 runs. He helped his side to 247-7 before Bradley Stoke & Almondsbury were dismissed in 42 overs with Mason Lingard taking 3-28. Daniel Qureshi, batting at 10, made 52 from 42 balls for Bradley Stoke & Almondsbury.
Haseeb Noori made an unbeaten 58 from just 27 balls, but he was unable to secure a victory for Golden Hill 2nds against Pak Bristolians. He arrived at the wicket with his side 155-8, but despite hitting five fours and two sixes, Golden Hill finished 10 runs short of Pak Bristolians’ 240-9. Israfiel Farooq top-scored for Pak Bristolians with 69 while Umair Javed (3-28) and Abdullah Tabraiz (3-37) were the pick of their bowlers. Noori picked up 3-24 and Andrew Parkinson 3-50 for Golden Hill.
Matt Smith claimed 5-14 as Coalpit Heath bowled out Portishead for 77 in 27 overs. That gave them a 191-run victory after Chris Cooke had earlier made 82.
An unbeaten 103 by skipper and opening batter Robert Knight steered Hanham to a six-wicket win over Timsbury in the First Division. They got home at the start of the 39th over – Knight brought up his century with a six to secure victory – after Timsbury had made 194-8. Lewis Redwood was Timsbury’s top scorer with 51.
Bristol 3rds held on for an exciting seven-run win over Keynsham 2nds after making 171-9 with Archie Birkbeck leading the way with 55. Keynsham were 107-2 at one stage before being bowled out in 35.5 overs with Birkbeck picking up 3-46.
Tim Ozane took 5-50 and then made a quickfire 70 as Bedminster 3rds defeated Old Down by three wickets in the Second Division. Old Down made 246-8 with George Rowen their main contributor with 50 before Bedminster got home with three balls to spare. Alex Tryfonos made 57 for Bedminster.
Opener Raj Chudasama finished unbeaten on 99 and on the losing side as Bristol West Indian Phoenix 2nds were beaten by 49 runs by Hambrook. Hambrook made 266-6 with Richard Dyer making 89 and Harish Sisodiya 57. Phoenix ended their innings with eight wickets down.
Alfie Huxtable took 4-13, but he couldn’t prevent Twyford House 2nds from going down to a five-wicket defeat to Pakistani Express, who went past Twyford House’s 93 in 19.2 overs.
Dan Evans took 5-6 in eight overs as Third Division leaders Frenchay 2nds restricted Frampton Cotterell to 134-9. Don Kulathungage picked up 3-20 before Frenchay knocked off the runs in 35.1 overs.
Wayne Passmore (5-31) and Jennifer Rivers (4-22) were the star bowlers as Long Ashton were bowled out for 120 by Bradley Stoke & Almondsbury 2nds. Amol Ingle made an unbeaten 66 as Bradley Stoke & Almondsbury reached their target inside 19 overs.
Sheraz Raja Muhammad made 101 of Bitton’s 250-4 against Barrow Gurney in the Fourth Division. It was a total that was beyond Barrow Gurney, who were bowled out for 178 in the 38th over.
Razi Ahmed returned 7-15 in eight overs as leaders Golden Hill 3rds bowled out Bristol Aces for 121 in 26 overs. Prasok Ramachandran made 50 for Bristol Aces, who lost their last nine wickets for 27 runs. Golden Hill reached their target with four wickets and almost 10 overs to spare.
An unbeaten 86 by skipper and opening batter Will Paget guided Hanham to a seven-wicket win over Stoke Bishop in the Fifth Division. He put on 136 with Max Pugsley (79) for the second wicket as Hanham overhauled Stoke Bishop’s 190-8 in the 38th over. Harry Abel (71) and William Monro (56) were Stoke Bishop’s leading run-getters while Callum Dry collected 3-24 for Hanham.
Leaders Bristol United Banks remain unbeaten after a thumping nine-wicket win over Congresbury. Hamza Akram took 3-10, and Bilal Raja picked up 3-14 as Congresbury were dismissed for 108, a total Bristol United Banks went past in 13.5 overs with Vipul Sharma making 50.
Abbots Leigh claimed their first win of the campaign in the Sixth Division, defeating Stapleton 2nds by 25 runs. Abbots Leigh made 235-8 with Behroz Khan making 109 from 86 balls, an innings that included 13 fours and five sixes. Will Millard took 3-32 before Stapleton were bowled out in the final over with Khan following up his century by taking 4-43. Ben Hatts made 58 for Stapleton.
Tom Woodworth picked up 5-14, and Thomas Hughes collected 3-9 in Golden Hill 4ths’ 122-run win over Timsbury 2nds. Timsbury 2nds were dismissed for 78 in 21 overs after Golden Hill had posted 200-8 with Jack Porter (63 not out) their main contributor. Zak Cox took 4-46 for Timsbury.
