Dumbleton bid for third successive Vitality U19 T20 title

THE Seat Unique Stadium will be the venue on Sunday for the finals day of Gloucestershire’s Vitality U19 T20 in association with Stuart Turner.

The day gets underway at 10am with the opening semi-final between Golden Hill and Cheltenham Chiefs, who were last season’s beaten finalists.

And the second semi-final between holders Dumbleton Dynamite (pictured) and newcomers Bristol Afghans will follow at around 1.15pm with the final scheduled for about 4.30pm.

Dumbleton last year defeated Bedminster Bashers by four wickets with just a ball to spare before easing to a nine-wicket success over Cheltenham with three overs in hand.

Dumbleton last month sealed the Marsh Commercial U16 T20 title for a third successive year, and the village club’s U19s would also complete an unprecedented hat-trick if they can once again prevail on Sunday at the home of Gloucestershire cricket.

Admission to finals day is free.
