Introducing GRACE – our Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Plan 2022

The Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation is proud to announce that we have just launched GRACE – our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Plan for 2022.

This outlines our determined commitment and expectation that cricket in Gloucestershire is for all. Our game is for everyone.

Our GRACE Plan will publish quarterly actions and targets, across five key focus areas, that the Foundation will deliver over the year. It’s our goal to improve people’s lives through the power of cricket and this is a partnership with clubs, leagues, associations & communities.  We sincerely hope that this partnership can lead the way in ensuring that everyone in our game feels welcome.  Read our GRACE Action Plan – Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation GRACE Action Plan 2022.

GRACE – the word looks to our history and our future – is a set of principles we would like clubs, leagues, associations, and communities to embrace. We need your help to spread the strong and clear message that cricket is for all and that discrimination, of any kind, does not have a place in cricket.

To help share this message, every cricket club will receive copies of our GRACE Poster to display in pavilions and home and away changing rooms and it is our hope that by spreading the word about GRACE, we will make a positive impact on game-wide and dressing room culture.

You can also support our campaign by sharing our message using our digital assets on your club and personal social media channels along with the hashtags #CricketforAll and #GRACEGlos. Don’t forget to tag us – @GlosCricketFdn on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.

Thank you for working with us to ensure Gloucestershire Cricket is a game for everyone.
