CHIPPING Sodbury will host Gloucestershire’s Stuart Canvas Under-16 T20 finals day on Sunday.
The day will get underway with two semi-finals in the Performance competition on the main pitch at The Ridings, with the hosts facing Cheltenham at 10am before Hatherley & Reddings take on Stapleton at around 1pm with the final following soon after.
The development competition final, meanwhile, will start at 1pm on the second Sodbury pitch with Frenchay and Frocester going head-to-head for the silverware.
WINTERBOURNE were knocked out of the ECB Vitality Cup Plate after going down by eight wickets against Waltham.
The South Gloucestershire side were bowled out for 107 after winning the toss at Wokingham, Ashley Oakes top scoring on 32, before Waltham romped to their target in less than 12 overs.
They then went on to defeat Rugby by six wickets to win the South Regional final and qualify for next month’s national final.
HATHERLEY & Reddings and Chipping Sodbury will contest the First Class Comms Gloucestershire Cup final at the Seat Unique Stadium on Saturday September 6.
The home of Gloucestershire County Cricket Club will also host Gloucestershire’s BOM IT Solutions Under 19 T20 finals the following day with Golden Hill, Painswick, Cheltenham and Whitchurch battling it out for the trophy.
