Synergy Networking Group supports the impactful work of the Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation with donation.
Our purpose at the Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation is to improve lives through the power of cricket and we are extremely grateful to the Synergy Networking Group for their generous donation to support us on our purpose. This donation will provide us with the flexibility to allocate funding where it is most needed, delivering the highest impact.
Networking with a difference
Synergy is not your normal networking group; meeting every Thursday morning, they balance out business with a friendly atmosphere and laid-back approach to meetings that has proven to be a highly successful formula, with members generating over £13 million in invoiced business, and it is still growing. Members are handpicked from a list of applicants, ensuring that everyone who joins is offering the highest quality service or product and is someone they would recommend, regardless of any networking obligations.
The group is not only about connecting businesses so they can grow and meet their strategic objectives. Members also want to give back by working in synergy with community organisations and charities to support them to achieve their mission and purpose, whether through volunteering, mentorship or fundraising.
Mark Burland, one of the Founders of Synergy Networking Group said:
“We see the positive impact the Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation are having on young people in some of Bristol’s most challenged wards, and the health and wellbeing benefits cricket offers through their disability and walking cricket programmes. Synergy Networking Group are proud to support their work with this donation.”
GCF membership
The Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation are proud to be a member of such a dynamic and enlightening business networking group, where not only leads and referrals are provided, but ideas and knowledge are shared which adds to the value of being a member.
Steve Silk, Chief Executive Officer at the Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation said:
“We are very grateful to the Synergy Networking Group for their generous donation, which will support our mission and purpose, and for their introductions to businesses who share our values and have become esteemed partners of the Foundation.”
Being part of the Synergy Networking Group has been hugely valuable for the Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation as a few members are now partners who champion our work. We have also gained valuable skills-based knowledge from Synergy members and have one of their guest speakers providing a public speaking workshop to the young people attending our flagship community festival, CricFest, in August.
